About MyHideaway
Affordable and Spacious 2 bedroom apartment for holidays in Cyprus
MyHideAway is a bright, airy and spacious 2 bedroom apartment, sleeping up to 6, within a small privately owned apartment block in the ancient village of Peyia in Cyprus. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just off the main street within a block of 12 similar privately owned apartments. Nestled among local Cypriot houses, it is just a 40 minute drive north from Paphos airport.
The well-appointed open plan living area leads onto a furnished, good sized patio area which invites alfresco lifestyle dining. Here you can enjoy a distant sea view whilst preparing your BBQ or rest after a swim in the well maintained communal pool after a day spent exploring. Beds have comfortable quality mattresses and can be flexibly arranged as twin or super king sized configurations to fit your requirements.
Peyia nestles amongst the sloping hills above Coral Bay. It is a traditional and friendly village with small winding streets, stone whitewashed houses and an old village church. Peyia offers a wonderful choice of tavernas and coffee shops to sample within easy walking distance of the apartment. A local bakery is freshly stocked daily with an extensive range of goodies and there are several supermarkets, banks, and a chemist to supply your needs.
Peyia is well located for exploring the south west of the sunny island of Cyprus. The Coral Bay Blue Flag Beach is a 5 minute drive down the hill from the apartment. A 15 minute drive takes you to Paphos town where you can explore the renowned harbour area, and its fort, and marvel at the UNESCO world heritage site with its unique mosaics. Agios Georgious is also about 15 minutes away with its picturesque little harbour area where you can wonder at the fantastic rock formations around the cove.
A little further north you will find the spectacular Akamas Peninsula comprising various terrains including lovely quiet coves for swimming, great areas for walking, cycling, and quad biking, or exploring off road with a 4X4 or a safari jeep tour. Mountains and amazing scenery, villages with tavernas, monasteries, the Cedar forest, and a local winery route are all within easy driving range with much, much, more.
Whatever your interests and dreams for your holiday, there is something for everyone in this area of Cyprus.
A car is recommended for getting around the island, but not essential. There is a new half-hourly daytime mini bus service from Peyia village square to Coral Bay and Agios Georgious.
